I think I am a nice person to help where ever possible  but oh my word but when you get someone who is genuine it real makes me feel bad 20190815_134227.thumb.jpg.61e49ceca83e8bee777744a91e1ff8c8.jpg they are nice seat`s

put them on here and ebay any ideas of how to sell them without idiot`s contacting me

Say something like, this is the price I want, genuine buyers only, if you are a time waster don,t bother asking.

I stopped selling on ebay because of many taking the p*ss, I've listed things for lets say BIN of £40 and then get a message saying ''I'll give you £30 or £20''.....Then there's the P&P, again my charge is about spot on and never charged for packing, but I get messages saying ''I'll buy the item but will not pay the P&P charge or pay only half of my P&P quote''.

Makes no difference often makes it worse, as they like a wind up.

Yes I agree They read the description then ask stupid question. My son tried facebook market place O,M,G the total timewasters people who said they where on their way and never turned up,

I'll only try to haggle if the buyer says 'or best offer'. P&P normally costs more than why the buyer pays when you factor in the actual packaging and taking the parcel to the post office etc.

What really gets me when I see people putting things on free sites and then getting asked of they will deliver it. I saw a 3month old washing machine being given way recently, someone actually asked if they would deliver it and plumb it in for them! When the seller said 'im sorry I can't do that' then starrwd moaning about it beimg pointless giving it away if they weren't willing to help get it in and working!!

Hahaha it seems some people havent got the sense they where born with, But the problem is these numpties are allowed to breed.

Allowed to breed - they seem to breed just by looking at one another. They never seem to be the ones that are 'trying' to get pregnant for years lol

Are you or your son on any Focus specific Facebook pages?  That's probably the best chance of selling without so many timewasters.  Nowhere is totally free from them though lol.

What ST model are they from ?

Will they fit my 1.0 fiesta or 1.4 focus?

Will they fit my 1998 1.4 Honda Civic ?

How much for the LHD wing mirror and headlight?

Are they heated?

Are they from a three or five door?

Will you hold them for me until next month when I get paid?

Are they genuine seats or seat covers?

All common questions

Never sell from your house; i always sell from the local lidl carpark

No mate they out of Skoda Twingo custom 3 seater lol

The only thing I sold was my Peugeot 107 I previously had. Put it up on auto trader and noticed the listing for that wasn't coming up until after 2-3 days. Cheeky way of this company wasting a few days so you have less days to renew the listing. Had someone call up about 5 days later asking about the car and saying its listed a little high as I saw a newer model listed for the same price. Funnily enough that car he stated was listed as cat D (hence the price) but weirdly the seller took that off which my dad explained to the guy. He then came to view the car next day (after getting conned by other car sellers) and was really with it. Showed him the service history we got from my ownership, pictures of when we changed the clutch just a few months ago etc. He was really happy that he said I can trust you with the stuff your telling me. Didn't even hesitate to when dad refused with his haggling.

Main thing was we were both happy. Sadly you get those con artists out there selling a car and not being honest with any problems or actually lieing about work getting done on it such as my fiesta which the registered owners 'husband' had 2 focus RSs.

I was trying to sell a spare set of wheels from my old Audi A3 for years. Advertised in all the relevant forums, local ads etc, with no takers. Then a couple of months back I was chatting with the lads in the village garage while getting my Mrs's car serviced. They are all into VW, Audi etc for their own cars, so I casually mentioned the wheels - sold!😀

'Opened but never used' and 'new but without retail packaging to save costs' bugs me, usually items described as such are about as unused as a 76 year old woman of the night!
