    Hi there , is the 5w30 the best one for my 58 new shape 1.6 TDCI Focus? I seen specific diesel engine oil, but the ones that are 5w30 are the 'standard' one with 'ford spec' on the front.

    Looking at the Magnatec oil also! Cheers

    ide recommend buying it from the dealers only i only use ford stuff from the dealers its what the car came with its what was designed for the engine so its the best stuff to use magnatec is over rated

    Yeah the stuff from Ford dealers does the job. I've used it before and it meets all the requirements that Ford specify.
