S-max AUX in speaker audio muffled

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My 07 s max sony/visteon standard stereo is acting weird. When using aux-in source, all of the right side speakers seem muffled (little and scratchy sound). They sound okay with CD or radio playing, only on aux-in source. I have tried replacing the glove box jack, but it is still the same. Has anyone experienced this or any suggestion what's wrong? thanks.

What are you using in the aux can you check that phone/iPod is outputting correctly may be a dirty jack on the equipment or the lead you are using.

Hi, it’s happening something similar here.

Suddenly the sound went very low, and it seems as I have lost a channel. I’ve checked the glove box jack and I could solve it, bad contact, but now is doing a lot of noise with the bass frequencies, and interferences...

Im gonna change the glove box jack and post the results...

if anybody knows anything else any info is welcome
