Fiesta rear coil spring mounts

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2008 ford fiesta style a few weeks ago my car hit a pot hole which broke the rear coil spring on the passenger side when I got the car home I looked at it and also found that the rear spring upper chassis mount had been broken off also .I mean the welded mount had completely broken off and I don't know where it went so I've been trying to find another mount to get welded on to my car and for the life of me I can't get on online all I can find is the upper strut mount but not the welded on upper mount for the coil spring I've tried all different options and getting nothing so really what I need to know is does anyone know where I can get one or what the correct name for it is maybe I'm looking in the wrong place or calling it the wrong thing so can anyone help thanks

Mk6 or Mk7?  2008 is the crossover year.

Are you sure it's a welded cup you're missing?  I don't even remember the Mk6 having one.

There is a rubber 'anti-squeak' mount for the Mk7 if that's what you've lost? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Fiesta-Mk7-09-2017-NEW-X2-Rear-Spring-top-mount-anti-squeak-Genuine-Part/274243914406?fits=Model%3AFiesta&epid=1309788022&hash=item3fda360aa6:g:r80AAOSwHu5cB95l

Otherwise he latest rear spring mount I can find is for the Mk4 Fiesta. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ford-Fiesta-Ka-Puma-StreetKa-Rear-Suspension-Spring-Top-Mount-1012465/254059012912?epid=1409715983&hash=item3b2718e330:g:YxwAAOSwG9VdP~Jw

That's the strut mount, he's after the spring seat.  Easy mistake though as I initially read it in the same way lol.

It's the Mk6 facelift I still have the rubber anti squeek attached to the spring it's the mount that the spring and rubber sit on the top that should be welded on to the frame of the car that's now missing .

Yeah, I know the part you mean now...never seen one come off before!! 😮

You can't seem to buy them separately - or at least I can't find them in the Ford parts catalogue lol.  I reckon cutting one off of a scrap car is probably the only way you'll get one, but might be worth asking your local dealer, I think the parts dept's are still open.

I was thinking of asking at a scrappy to get one of another car I've even thought of trying to get some pics of the one on the opposite side of the car and having one specially made and welded on again .I thought it was something I was doing wrong when trying to find them online .it was a huge pothole that caused the damage to the car in the first place .
