Ford Focus MKIV ST-Line Mud Flaps

Featured Replies

Hi All!

Bit of a long shot here. I've just taken delivery of some mud flaps from China, stated as being specifically for the new Ford Focus ST-Line. However it appears the drill hols don't align with the bodywork or the Wheel Arch Line, (theres quite a bit of depth behind the drill hole and the supplied screws are way too short to reach the liner).

Anyone got any ideas on how I could make this work? Preferably avoiding drilling the chasis itself!

Have attached pictures.

I've emailed the seller but clutching at straws I think.

Cheers all.

Hi Neutron - did you make any progress with your mud flap fitment issue. I'm also been looking for some mud flaps for my ST-Line Focus (having just been told by local Ford dealership that Ford dont list any mudflaps for the MKIV Focus ST-Line)

I got some off ebay from china and the fronts fit fine, but the rears are not the correct shape so I never fitted them.😕

Ford changed the design of the front. I have those mount points on mine but they are not on newer models anymore.

Rallyflapz (which I have fitted) have the same issue of not being able to offer front flaps for the newer revision arches.

I've just picked up this thread, 'cos I want to fit mudflaps to my MK4 STLine.

I fitted them to my NC MX5 years ago - not specifically made, but a set of the excellent, but no longer available, Cannon Bodyguards.

They are attached to the wheelarch liners using short #8 stainless self tappers and penny washers. Holes were made using a normal bradawl.

It looks from Neutrons pics that the same could be done with the flaps in the first picci, and maybe somrhitng could be made up - a short bit of plastic? - to mount the ones in the second pic but the brackets would be visible.

I do have some flat, generic mudflaps bu they don't seem to be up to the quality of the Cannon items so haven't put them on the Focus yet..
