09 s-max 2.0 diesel keeps cutting out

Hope someone can shed light on my problem, starts ok but after 6/10 seconds it cuts out and will start again ok but again it will cut out...once you were driving it seemed to he ok..but each time you stop the vehicle it would keep cutting out to the point it wouldn't start..if you left it 10 minutes it was fine and would start ok...any ideas anyone...

    Its had new cam belt and previous owner had fuel filter replaced...that's all..
