engine bay hot, radiator fan always working after trips

Featured Replies

Hi, newbie around here ans hoping someone can assist me with this.

My S-max with small trips or long trips(example: 10 miles)  radiator fan starts whenever I turn off the car.

Sometimes low others high. I notice that the temperature of the engine is ok, but the engine bay is extremely hot.

My mechanic guy verified the water pump, thermostat and says it is okay. flow is in good state and, liquid level is also ok.

The S-max is from May 2010 and it doesn't have the active grille shutter. I don't know if it should have it or not. I think this only came in 2011.

I would appreciate if someone could help me out.

Sorry for the bad english or explanation.
