Hi everyone

I'm new to the site and to owning a ford focus.

I don't know much about cars other than what I can see on youtube and google, hence why I am here :)

I have a ford focus mk3 12 plate.I would like to,if possible upgrade the headlights.

Do I need to replace the entire housing or just the bulbs? 

If it is just the bulbs then which bulbs, i have seen on halfords they require H7 but I have also seen on powerbulbs.com DS3 bulbs which supposedly fit the mk3 aswell.

there are so many different prices I presume you pay for what you get?

So as you might tell I am abit confused and would really appreciate your  help.

Hi, which spec is your Focus?

Most come with H7 halogen bulbs.  But the Titanium X and ST3 cone with HID Xenon bulbs which are the DS3.  

We'll need to know what you have now to advise any further.

I have a focus 1.0 zetec mk3 12 plate.

Thanks for your help,i presume mine has H7 bulbs,can you get H7 LED bulbs or just very bright bulbs that are good please.

Hi, yes you will almost certainly have the standard H7 bulbs.  

You can either buy brighter/whiter H7 halogen bulbs such as Phillips WhiteVision (my current choice) or upgrade to LED H7's.  Autobeam are highly recommended on here for LED's, but they aren't cheap!
