Hello,
I have a problem with my ecu I believe. I have just finished rebuilding it as I had damaged the piston skirt. Like an idiot I forgot to tighten the battery terminals due to over tiredness. I was driving down the road and it cut out and now is saying immobiliser malfunction. When I plug in my mates snap on diagnostic tool it can not connect to the ecu. So my question is if the ecu is fried, can I just swap it for a second hand one with lock, ignition barrel, alarm system, Bluetooth control module, the clocks and the keys would it work or dose it have to go to ford and have to be re programed to the car.
