Advice needed on voicemail amount of rings urgent ( virgin mobile).

Featured Replies

I have just gone onto a sim deal on virgin mobile and it does me 100% but i have 1 problem which i need to sort quick because being a carer people ring and can't always get to the phone quick.

The amount of rings before it goes to voicemail is 7 and timed it on my home phone when i rang my mobile at around 20 seconds or just under,i want max which is 30 seconds but won’t change.

Rang them 4 times now and just won't work, was given **61*+447458333222**30 hash (hash symbol don't work on my keyboard) and tried loads of times, this is what i get when i press send/green answer on keypad below.

Does anyone have virgin mobile and what is the time scale they can and on how many rings,as said mine is 7 rings = 20 seconds.(my old vodafone was 10 rings 30 seconds.

This is a urgent thing i need to try and sort if phone is off or i cant get to it as nurses ring/doctors etc.

If you’ve had a new SIM since December 2017

To extend the ring time to 30 seconds, first enter this code into your phone: **61*+447458333222*11*30#. Next, press the call or answer key - your phone will do the rest.

You can alter this to ring for 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 seconds by replacing **30# with your choice of seconds. E.g. enter **15# if you want it to ring for 15 seconds. The most you can extend it to is 30 seconds.

Tried it mate loads of times that is why i rang them 4 times and just gets the number you gave me which i have but i asked them.

I was told every time dont put the 11 in on the new sims as it won’t work so tried it with and without but i still get this message.

If anyone on virgin does there 30 seconds = 7 rings then answer phone and what does this message i keep getting mean.

Try putting just one * before the 30

What  if i keep trying it won't it set it back to longer to reset but i will try that in a while but would like to know to see if mine is already set to the max...30seconds..7 rings.

I can't even check it as it don't tell me any info when i try that 61 or something number just says not connected which it is as I'm using it A1 and app works for limits etc.
