pugsley990 Posted April 8, 2010 Share Posted April 8, 2010 hi need help got a problem with my ford focus petrol its overheating,have bled the sytem as was making a swooshing sound through heater matrix inside car,fan cuts in when hot,radiator hot all over ,heater blows hot air ok ,all pipes hot,water in expansion tank staying level not fluctuating so no air,has two fans as has air con,temp goes straight into red when under load ie above 50 or up hills ,when heater is on hot and blower turned on to full temp returns to normal,fan can be heard to be cutting in seems on higher speed also but temp still rises as soon as driven for short distance but ok at idle,replaced reostat on engine cooling fan,so need some help please sean.
