Date of last V5C (logbook) issued?

Featured Replies

Replacing my current Focus with a newer version I noticed when I do a search on gov.uk on Reg for a particular car it says-

Date of last V5C (logbook) issued. -     then gives the date

Im looking at two cars and both had new Logbooks issued in the last year should I be worried about this? One is a 2011 and the other is a 2013?  I take it for a new logbook to be issued the car changed hands or the person lost the logbook (unlikely) and applied for a new one.  Really don't like the buying process when your on a budget its a ***** mine field out there!

Also any good Auction Houses out there like a Car Suoermarket?
