I have had a ebay account for a good 8 years or more with PayPal.

2 weeks ago I sold 2 items my first 2 sales,money is there just over £100 and I have added my Debit card to transfer with is great and works which I had to do to get my money as I use my credit card on there mainly.

Why is when I buy any item off ebay it don't take my money that I have sitting in my PayPal account and the only way to get my PayPal money is transfer to my Debit card so its in my current account,this is why I added my Debit card.(is it something like a 21 day on hold thing)

    Go to 'Wallet' and change your payment preferences.  

    Should be 'PayPal Balance' as preferred payment.  Sounds like yours is set to your card instead.

    Cheers never new that,will look at that.
    So if I choose that when its gone will it automatically go onto card say I have £100 and had a item £110 will it take the balance then £10 onto card.

    Found it on the phone and removed the one card.
    Yes if it ain't got enough in credit it will ask what card but there is only one card there now.
