This may not be the appropriate place to ask, but does anyone have a view on why Ford charge around £180 for a map update on my Sync2 satnav, but I can buy updates online for around £35?

    I've bought a map SD card direct from a Ford dealer for £60 before.

    The prices seem to be a bit hit and miss and whether your dealer/group has any interest in offering a better price.

    The ones on ebay are probably bought through the cheapest European market for it.

    I can't comment on why Ford charge £180 for an SD Card, especially since the best Maps are free from Google or Waze,
    But I will say, I didn't feel bad about ordering the F8 Map on eBay for £19, took a punt and it arrived from Lithuania in a week, all good.

    Hello. I have just downloaded the new F9 map from Ford sync updates and loaded into my Sync. It works fine. But I can't update the ford website as it is asking for a file that is just not there. Has anybody else had this Ploblem.
