Smax 2012 vibration with drive

Featured Replies

hi,

I have  2012 smax with 92000 miles and when I drive I get a vibration on the front wheels however this goes away when free wheeling and is worse if accelerating hard.

I am wondering if its linked to drive shafts and if anyone else has had a similar issue. Don't want to start replacing parts unless I know exactly what to start with.

I know its not wheels out of balance as its not there when free wheeling at various speeds.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Hey,

2011 Smax 2.2 tdci 200. Does the same. Think it’s definitely linked to the drive shaft as the cv joint was split when I bought it 2 years ago.
