Hazards not flashing when locking

Hi guys,

is there any way to check the locking system for faults, hazards don’t flash when locking or double locking indicating a fault. Although no errors on the dash for doors/boot/bonnet open and everything locks when button pressed.

    Check every door and especially the boot if they are all closed properly or this can happen it has many a time to me on mk2 and mk3.

    Checked everything’s closed, even checked the handles from inside when dead locked and all handles do nothing while double locked which seems strange as I was expecting one to have failed....
