Ford Galaxy Titanium X 2016 180BHP Diesel

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I would like to ask where I can find the reversing camera module in the 2016 Ford Galaxy Titanium X.

Hi,

I don't know exactly on that model. But usually they are in one side of the boot, behind the carpet panelling.

The car has a camera, but is it possible that it is not functioning at all? There are wires coming from the camera but we don't know if it is connecting to the module as we can't even find the module as it is not in the rear right. Are there any places elsewhere where it could be? The fault code reader displays the following diagnostic: B115E:08-08. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, could they please let me know and provide solution / evidence with pictures? Or if anyone knows a good Ford Galaxy camera specialist in Lanarkshire and its surrounding area, please feel free to share that as well.

There is no rear view camera module on a 2016 S-Max/Galaxy. The camera is LINbus controlled by the BCM.

It is highly likely that the camera itself is broken.

Hi the camera is new Arnold Clark fitted the new camera and told me ,this car reversing camera never working because have not find the camera module. I think You know better than Arnold Clark. What do you think I need forscan to get the camera working again. Thanks

Did the car have a factory fitted rear view camera or is it retrofitted?

If the car has a factory fitted rear view camera a replacement original camera should at least display the video image with fixed parking lines. The adaptive parking lines usually start working after the LINbus initialization procedure of the BCM has been performed.

In case of a retrofit the rear view camera must be correctly configured in both the APIM and BCM and the LINbus initialization procedure of the BCM must be performed.

What is the part number of the camera?

The camera seems to be the correct part. I recommend checking the following:

- Camera 12 Volt power (most Ford models use a permanent 12 Volt for the camera.
- Camera ground.
- Signal cable between the camera and the screen for continuity.

If the above is checked and confirmed, the problem must either be LINbus or configuration.
