2007 S-Max aftermarket stereo install

Featured Replies

Hi All

New member first post.

I'm looking for some advice around fitting a new stereo to my 2007 S-Max. Its has DAB and Bluetooth phone calling, I've worked out where the antenna and mic are going to be fitted, so all good there. The one thing I'm 99% on is the Mute/reversing signal. The plan is to connect to the switch-live side of the on/off switch for the reversing sensors on the dash, this will be wired through a 12V relay. Just wondered if anyone had done the same, sees and issue or has a better idea.

The other question I have is, where is the handbrake signal wire? I need/should connect that to the stereo too so I can mirror my phone. I don't think it'll work without a signal.

Any other comments or advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Sam
