Intermittent low oil pressure

Featured Replies

Hi all looking for some help with my 2013 ford fiesta mk7 1.5 tdci

Around 2 weeks ago I was getting a message coming up on the screen saying engine low oil pressue the message would go so quick I couldn't read it I had to video it on my phone to see what it said. NOTE this would only come up when first starting the car for the first time in the day anything after that it would not come on.

I took the car in for a full service and the mechanic also run a full diagnostic and no codes were found and no historical codes. The message then stopped and didn't come back on.

Today when starting the car for the first time I had the message come up again it goes off after about half of second.

No unwanted noise from the engine and it runs fine no message comes up when driving.

If it was the oil pressure sensor why would I only happen when first starting the car then never come up again?

Any advice or help please has anyone ever had this issue?
