Ignition live fuse

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking at installing some halo day running lights around my footlights but need an ignition live fed fuse to piggy back the feed to the lights so they come on with the ignition.

The car is a ford focus mk 2.5 ST3 I cannot remember the fuse I used on my old drl on my last focus from thespeedline company and the car has now been sold

Thanks in advance

Dunno if its similar in the St probably is TBH but I have marked out the ignition Live in my post. If it is different there is diagrams online for every car. Click the replied to bar just below to get to the right post.

Scratch that it's very different.

For the halo on my fogs on my mk3, I used a fuse in the engine bay and it works a treat!

Once it’s stopped raining I’ll go out and find what fuse I tapped in to, been running the halos like this for a year and a half with no issues what so ever on this fuse. Comes on with ignition and off with ignition :)

I used a multimeter and references the fuse diagram in the owners manual and found a fuse that wouldn’t cause any issues if it were to blow!
