Less sporty (but leather) seats?

Featured Replies

So... I fancied a Ford SMax... Got one... Titanium 08 plate - with the half leather / alcantara seats...

Loved it... Only problem is, after a short amount of driving, it doesn't half squeeze my derriere, uncomfortably so.  Now the wife has the car 😕

So - My fat back side (blame being a rugby forward) still fancies an SMax, but I don't know if the full leather seats are "less sporty".

They appear to be from pictures, but also, they seem to be rarer than hens teeth for some reason, it's either cloth (no go) or alcantara sports.

Can anyone confirm if the full leather seats are less sporty - and in line with the seats from my Mondeo Mk3?

(I'm constantly looking on Autotrader for full leather... but obviously, Autotrader's search facilities are worse than Yahoo in the 1990's, and nothing seems to have come up within a few hours drive just for me to check it out... and don't really want to be some pain in the backside tyre kicker...)

Budget is firmly Mk1 - which is a shame as it seems that a lot of Mk2's are full leather!

Anyone any knowledge or guidance?

Cheers

Jules
