Bluetooth not working on Radio

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a Ford Focus from 2012,

For years the bluetooth to my phone worked fine but suddenly stopped. Radio dosn't say there is any error, just it cant find my phone, I have tried other phones and radio can't find ANY Bluetooth devices or sync to new.

At this point I tried using the sound jack & USB and neither of these worked either.

Rest of Radio works fine, FM/DAB etc all work

I did some reading on here and found a common fix is to remove fuse 67 for 2 minutes (from fuse box in passenger footwell), I did this but no difference.

I then did some more research and found the radio consists of multiple parts

- Radio AHU DAB

- Another black box (Not sure what to call it) EBay pics its part no is D1BT-14D212-LA

My current idea is this blackbox is faulty and needs replacing, my question is though where the heck is it?

Im trying to locate it to asses if it's a part I can swap myself or need to take it to garage.

Thanks

It's the "Blackbox", behind the glovebox IIRC.
