1.0 Litre Ecoboost Oil Filter Removal

Has anyone managed to replace the oil filter from the top of the 1.0 ecoboost engine, it looks like it can be done with skinny arms.

    Just do it from underneath, you still need to drop the oil from underneath.

    Thanks. I was going to suck the oil out and try and replace the oil filter but it looks pretty hard to get to. I might have to buy some ramps and just do it from below as you suggest.

    All you need is a jack stand on the one side it gives enough clearance. If it's hard to get off and you don't have the tool a pair of rubber gloves and some brute 💪 does the trick 😁

    Cheers, I have a tool, it makes it way easier. I'll look for stands I think or even ramps as I may give a clean whilst I'm in there. Ive managed the rest of the engine so it would be rude not to.
