No power to air con

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a 2006 S-max 2.0 TDCi Titanium - I bought it on the cheap without the built in sat nav/air con unit working (on the assumption replacement parts would be cheap). So I decided to buy a second hand stereo and climate control unit on eBay. Whilst the stereo worked fine after entering the code and so did the climate control unit, as soon as I turned the engine off and back on again, the climate control module wouldn't work, i.e. no buttons functional and/or no illumination on the screen. I purchased another replacement module (in case it was an issue with the second hand module), however the exact same thing happened. I have checked the fuse in the passenger glove compartment and all looks fine.

Is anyone able to shed some light on what the underlying issue could be?
