Car not starting after cam belt replacement

Featured Replies

Hi, wonder if someone can shine some light. I have a 2.0 TDCi 2009 SMax. Just done the cam belt (after crank bolt snapping and having to extract and replace crank seal ) all locking pins pins in place, turned by hand seven times and re locked. Fuel filter replaced and bled through. Car will not fire, it turns over absolutely fine. Plugged it in and just get a low fuel pressure bank one. When it does turn over I’m getting air blowing out of the air intake?? A bit lost now and beyond my knowledge if any one could shed some light would be very grateful

Is timing 180 degrees out?

Can you rotate the crank one more turn before putting the locking king pin in?

Will give that a try Thankyou, was very carefull to lock it all at the start but I know the locking slipped on the flywheel when trying to extract bolt
