Featured Replies

I was looking at a cheap inflatable single bed for a few months white the bedroom are being done out so bed will be left inflated just moved.

Looking around £40 max and seen one on ebay with built in pump, any advice would be great.

We have this one...

A little more than you want to pay but it's a well known brand. A lot of them perish whilst in storage, this one has been fine. We store ours in a vacuum bag with a couple of those silca packs to trap any moisture. I'm sure we got ours from Argos, but you can also get them in B&M.

I also found this one on Amazon with good reviews, the only thing I don't like about eBay is that you don't get to read any product reviews

Could just send me £25 via PayPal and I'll recommend you put your existing mattress on the floor, 🤝

Was thinking the same, just i need a light weight single bed to move about as my dad passed away 5 weeks ago and im going through some ups and downs as i was

a carer for 13+ years so on my own and they have taken the electric bed upstairs and only got a old single bed which is full of stuff so that's the main reason.

I did think they would puncture easy so anything just for a few months.

Jonro........ That looks ok on Amazon and also a valve to blow up if pump goes,as above it will be left up most days as i get me and stuff sorted.

Sorry for your loss mate,

Cheers mate, looked after mom and dad and been through everything as i dealt with the lot on my own as just mom,dad and me and very hard times but its just life.

As some know on here i have asked a lot of questions on stuff and also my car with great replies over the past years as this was not only a ford forum for me.

Massive clean out and empty bedrooms with 1 old single bed with stuff on, so I'm downstairs for a while so a lightweight bed which can fold/deflate etc.

I agree it's a great forum, keep logging on though out the process, maybe start a home improvement thread as I have done on here myself Google: "Lenny's living room project"

Disposal of things can be very expensive; try donating items to charity shops and selling some items on local advertising sites but never sell from your house always meet in shopping carparks and take a long route home,

Personally ive left home at 17, I'm 35 now married with three kids but my parents still won't assist me in anyway and barely contact for whatever reason especially now with the threat of covid19 I don't know when I might see them again, then I read about people such as yourself whom lost there's and were very close or closer than mine, would be easier for me if mine were gone then I'd stop wondering why things are as such.

I lived alone for around a year, washing dishes was difficult for me I found it depressing so I used to buy paper plates and disposable forks &knives then bin them with no washing up, I still had proper items for when visitors came in but when it was just me I used disposable stuff.

Sooner you can change the place to be yours then the easier you will find it to move forward,

Stay positive mate

Condolences mate, chin up.
The sun will shine again.
