ABS Problem.

Featured Replies

Hi all - I’m after some advice if I may. I’ve got a 2007 Ford Fusion + . The ABS light has illuminated alongside engine management ,parking light, speedo not working and computer just showing dashes and digits instead of numbers. Googled and it suggests the ABS Module has failed , linked to an OBD2 scanner and it tells me the same. Will not reset the light . My question is , can I fit a secondhand unit with the same serial number ? Or would any unit be it used or new have to be coded into the car ? Or any tips otherwise? Thanks in advance ! 👍

My 55 plate 1.4tdci abs pump failed, i replaced it with a used unit via ebay.

Straight swap in my case and no coding required.

Had a right job finding the correct one for mine at the time, and a bit awkward to replace from the bulkhead.
