Mk2 Zetec s Heated seat retrofit

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone on here has ever taken the heated seats out of the mk2 focus st3 and put them in a mk2 zetec s or other focus that did not come with heated seats as standard. Looking to know if it is possible to get the heated part of the seats to work. Thanks

It all depends upon the seat connector(s) and the in-car wiring.

If the in-car wiring isn'tt there for the heated seats then you'll need to manually wire in the buttons, that should be fairly straight forward. The problem arises if the seats have a single connector with the heating and airbag connectors on, you'd have to remove the heated seat wires and hope the seat connector fits the car connector!

You could always buy a heated seat kit from ebay, here's a link to a *how-to* video, it's for a Punto but the method should be similar for any car.
