can any one help me out ive just bought a 2007 smax and my direction control knob wasnt doing anything so ive removed the radio, glovebox and dash surround to see why. It seems like the old cable has been removed im guessing cause it was kinked or broken. i want to replace the cable but have no idea where the other end goes? the heater control disappears down the passenger side and im guessing the direction contol cable does also but what does it plug into? Anyone had this issue before and can shed some light on the subject?  Ive spoken to the dealer but theyre not sure of where the end goes and seem to thing there should be a small motor with a multi plug but im dubious  as i can see how a plastic cable would work wuth an electrical moyor
