Not used 2018 Focus all day. Found all 4 windows half open!
started car and all four closed using the switches. 
What’s going on ?

Have you got global opening windows?
Accidentally pressing the key buttons in your pocket can cause this.

Agreed standard feature in modern cars ok as long as it's not raining!

It's the car version of pocket dialing.

Lots of people suggest pressing the buttons accidentally, but I'm sure you'd notice if this was the case. I suspect this is more common than people realise. I had this twice on my Astra, different car I know, but I suspect the electronic systems used are very much the same judging by the common faults which crop up. On one occasion the car was parked in the garage, and all 4 windows wide open in the morning. At first I thought it must be me. The second time was in Meadowhall shopping centre, returned to the car and one of the rear windows half way down. Then more and more people reporting similar problems on the forums. No way could any dealer pinpoint a fault even if they were inclined to try. So, I believe you, but don't hold out much hope of you finding a solution. It's one of those things I just had to try and live with. Touch wood, not happened yet on the Focus.
