Hi all, I’ve recently bought a 2008 titanium S-max and it came with one key. I wanted a spare key so checked fb £100 and Ford £240+vat plus programming cost for a spare.

I’ve just noticed the ignition is faulty so checked marketplace second hand ignition 2 keys and door lock for £45, 

I know the keys will need reprogrammed 0-2 four times then push the lock button on each fob.

My question is when I replace the ignition does it need to be reprogrammed to the car

Ant advice would be great, tia
