Ford galaxy 2.0 TDCI powershift. Been offered a 13 plate for 1k been stood since mot expired last august  and only covered 520 miles from aug 19 mot. Its in ok condition engine starts and no faults showing. Would do oils and service but have no idea on which transmission fluid to buy. Also appreciate any other tips on any possible faults that may pop up.

Ford should be able to sell you the correct oil for the gearbox...not cheap for the Powershift.

I'm no expert with this but from what I've read on the forums, it is imperative to have the Powershift serviced every 37500 miles or 3 years (whichever is sooner) and the oil is expensive (and very important to use the correct spec).

Have a search on the forums for more info on the procedure or try Talkford.com in the Mondeo section (mainly Mondeo owners there)

Much appreciated. Don't mind price as have an xc70 and that oil is expensive.
