Drivetrain warning light

Featured Replies

I have a 2L Diesal Mondeo. 65 plate- 2016. My drivetrain warning light came on last night on the way home from work and I experienced reduced power.  Does anyone know what this might be or experienced it themselves.

A problem with the drive train is the best diagnosis we can give without a fault code. You need to plug in, read the codes and come back

I can't offer much of a diagnosis with the info you have given.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that in many cases of early Mk5s that had the warning light come on it turned out to be a faulty EGR valve - possibly a faulty batch problem
