My Names Martin, I have been a member for sometime and just mainly used the forum for reference, but thought I would say hi.

I have had Fords for most of my driving life, started with a Renault 5 and then a Daewoo, I then got the ford bug with a J Reg 1.8Ltr petrol sierra GLX manual, then a 2002 Mondeo estate LX 2.0 Petrol Manual, then moved on to a 2007 Smax 1.8D LX manual, then a 2013 Smax Zetec 1.6D Ecotec manual, then a 2017 Smax Titanium 2.0D Manual then guess what I have now!! No not another Smax but a ford Focus Active X Vignale 1.5D estate 2020 Automatic. 

I have had the focus a few weeks now and i'm so impressed, I mentioned the gearbox types above, as this is the first automatic I have ever had, this is due to my wife having health issues and she struggles with the manual box. I have a few questions over it, which maybe answered in this thread or I will start in another thread.

Things like what's the L button on the gear selector knob do? and does the eco mode shut down 1 of the cylinders? Can I get the car to save the last driving mode or do I have to select it each time I turn the engine on?

Its got all the "mod cons" and I have still to have a play with them, I was impressed with the dynamic cruse control. 

I'm looking forward to spending time here getting to know people and be able to bore with the talk of cars
