Mk4 and mk4.5 headlights the same....( i know the difference between types of bulb set ups)  just.need to know if the headlight units are the same thanks

    Depends which units, for example Xenon units in the mk4.5 don't have the side light bulb or wiring because  they have DRL's in the bumper.

    I have the drls in the bumper.... so i was looking for a replacement head light... but you have answered my question....... thank you..... just thought a preface and a facelift was the same...but now i know now cheers
