    Interestingly I was going through the registration checker on the Leigh Day website and one of the vehicles I've owned - a Land Rover - came up as potentially eligible.

    I'm a bit puzzled as to why you would be entitled to compensation though, and for what? I can't see that anyone will have suffered financial loss - quite the reverse  if the "false" emissions have reduced your taxation, exempted you from ULEZ, etc. Is it because of the mental anguish you may be suffering at having caused more pollution than you thought?

    I may investigate further but it seems a bit immoral to me. As I say, I can't see that I suffered any financial loss and I'm sure the biggest beneficiaries of all this will be a bunch of lawyers.
