I have a few noises on my mondeo that have been coming up the last few weeks/months.

 

mondeo 58 plate 2.0 petrol

 

The most recent one is a clunking noise when moving off and going (not all the time just if accelerating hard). There is also a sort of grinding/screeching noise when accelerating foot down have been told this is nothing to worry about by who usual does our car. 

 

I'm assuming this clucking noise could be the clutch? any other ideas by anyone?

    Sounds more like one of the drive shaft CV joints
