ive got a mk1 cortina 4 door 1963 and I need a few parts for it , does anyone know where I might get some from please

Hi a simple search with Google "cortina mk1 spares for sale" brings up hundreds of parts, so unless you want something very specific I would just take a look on the net.

Always worth asking on here though in case someone knows of a good source. For example, I was able to help a guy with an early (Peugeot engined) Granada diesel because I remembered a specialist in old Peugeot parts I used to pass on my way to work, and they had the exact part required.

I guess mechanical parts would not be too hard to find, given the commonality with other Fords. Even back in the day when I needed a new oil pump for my Mk 1, I found the later version from an early Mk 3 crossflow fitted.

No doubt body and trim parts are the problem though. I do have a look around at Mk 1 sites occasionally out of interest/nostalgia and there's even.one in Oz who do ship internationally:
