Hi I'm Pauline and I picked up my 2018 Fiesta Zetec 1.0T PS100 Ecoboost on Wednesday from People's Ford in Edinburgh. 1 previous owner, 21,200 miles, FSH. I passed my test back in September after a large break in learning to drive (I initially started in 2010 but gave up for 12 years due to a horrible experience with my first driving instructor!).

I've loved cars all my life and have owned or bought about 5 (as my partner's could drive) but this is my first Ford.  I chose Ford as my last instructor had the previous Fiesta, MK6, and we wanted more power than the VW up! Beats that I bought to get more driving practice as I found the Kia Rio too difficult to work the clutch (we had that for 6 months).

I loved the up! car and have had it for 2 years so hoping I'll feel the same about the Fiesta.  I definitely love the colour (cool blue) as I like distinctive cars. But I prefer a 5 door as find the seatbelt awkward to grab in a 3 door and the seatbelt height doesn't adjust but partner found a 3 door and we decided to go for it. I found a 5 door, 17 mk7 Fiesta Titanium which had all the features I wanted including reversing sensors or camera but 35,000 miles on clock which seemed quite high and only PSH and £500 more so he persuaded me to get the 3dr Zetec instead. I got the garage that sold it to fit reversing sensors which has caused wiring issues with lights etc so hopefully I'll not regret that decision! 😅
I like to understand what I'm driving and use the features to the max so will read posts to get help and look forward to using the knowledge of members on here - thanks in advance!
