Radio swap

Featured Replies

Hi, firstly thanks for letting me join. I have a 2006 mk2 1.8 tdci in Spain and the green lights are very dim during day on the radio cd player. I've tried the lights dimmer switch but can't get it high enough to read the display. My current one is a cd 132 as per picture. I've seen a similar model but it differs by being an mp3 cd player unlike mine which is just a cd player.

Question, could i buy the mp3 version without compromising the steering column controls? Or would I lose that facility. Should I be unable to swap this particular model are there others available I could purchase without compromising the column controls.

Mine is the first image.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers.
