Hi All,

i have searched the forums and cant seem to find anything similar to the issue I'm having although I'm sure its very common.

the interior lights in my Mondeo don't seam to come on when the car is unlocked or the doors are opened, the button for turning all the lights on and the button for the open door function doesn't seam to work but when you turn on the reading lights they work front and back. i was wondering is this a fuse or is it a case of needing a new light module in the front.

Do you have LED or standard interior lights? 

I assume you have a late mk4.5? My 2011 car has LED lights and from memory I can turn them off by pressing and holding the on/off button, they then don't turn on when I switch off the engine nor when opening the doors. Press and hold to undo.

Thanks for the suggestion gave it a go and had no luck its the LED module i reckon it could be gone there only £25 on ebay so think ill just order one and keep the fingers crossed that it works

Sat playing around with it one day and it seems to be a double press and hold on the press on the door function switch to switch the door function on or off, all on/off switch still not working
