Artifacts & Relics

I'm not one for 'trinkets' and have a fairly minimalist flat.  But have started searching for genuine relics on ebay recently...of course, working out whether something is genuine or not is the tricky part!  But it got me wondering, do any of you have any interesting antiquities?

Egyptian Shabti, Roman coins, Greek oil lamps, etc?

Whatever you'd like to share really!  Personally I'm looking at 2000+ years old but that's not a limit for the thread.

I feel like 2000yrs old some days.

Nothing nearly that old unfortunately 😲

The first things I remember really collecting was whisky miniatures, this expanded to all types when folk would take one back from their holiday etc for me.

From then on it's grown to anything bar/pub related including glasses, ashtrays, water jugs, signs etc

I also seem to collect Tiley lamps and anything from a bygone era which would be lost if I hadn't rescued them from the skip!

I also have a modest collection of signs, good for covering up wall(and ceiling) space.

99% of this stuff has been thrown out and would be lost for ever if I hadn't found them.

Now that's a decent man cave!

Also noted the Winmau dart board...literally wall mounted one in my flat today.  First time I've ever lifted one, had no idea how heavy they were!  Also feel like an idiot for pronouncing it 'Winmao' for the last week, apparently it's 'Winmore'. :whistling:
