Bought my first Ford today, it is a 2010 Ford focus 1.6 (titanium)

I went to the local car seller for an slightly older one but had too much rust and this one I ended up buying was only slightly more and in a much better state (same brand tyres for instance rather than 4 different ones)

Gave the engine bay a quick refresh and noticed there is no engine cover which is odd but apparently standard. I then found some post saying that this can cause problems with the ECU and you can get some metal covers or a Saab one, bought the Saab one on eBay and should arrive later this week

I am very confused about the central locking system and the double locking but have managed to lock the car by pressing the button on the door handle after locking it, I have another car which is 25 years old and does not have the keyless entry system so have to get used to modern systems :-)

Only thing left to do is replace all filters, oil change this coming weekend and then......

Install a new CarPlay compatible radio, found some useful post on this forum
