A/C issue on 2015 Focus mk3 TDCi

Featured Replies

Bought car a couple of months ago. A/C wasn’t getting cool at all, so I had a mobile tech come to home address from Cool Car (UK) at a cost of £50.

He recharged it and it was working well for a couple of days but then it was back to blowing out air that wasn’t cool even on max A/C. So, he came back out and checked for vacuum leaks and there wasn’t any; checked pressure readings which were ok and did another recharge. Same thing happened; ok for a couple of days then back to how it was. Texted him asking what else it could be but no reply. Any idea what’s going here? I don’t know if the car has ever had a full A/C service.

My guess is it's a slow leak and he just didn't leave it on the machine long enough to pick it up.
