I just bought a ford focus 2017 1.5tdci st line and would like to know what are the best upgrades to get? Mainly audio and maybe an aftermarket exhaust. I'm new to this forum website would love to hear from a lot of you people.
Last question currently the car has only 396km, I was recommend to stay on the lower end of the rpms as it still needs to break in is this true or not?

You don't need to bed in a diesel really, just don't hold it at the same revs for ages.

If it's manual, don't go crazy on remapping/tuning because that gearbox is very weak. Try to resist flooring it in 1st gear😉

No exhausts AFAIK other than fitting an ST Diesel back box???, but you'd have to change or cut the rear valance

Pioneer do some nice replacement speakers.

Yea it came to the island at 2017 and was bought at around the end of 2019. Then the owner never payed the rest of the payments and they took it from him. Then luckily I had the opportunity to buy it. (couldn't resist it tbh) In terms of remap I was just going to do a simple stage 1 nothing major mainly to get more efficiency and a bit more of acceleration. For speakers found a kit from kicker which I'm going to try out. Thank you for the tips 😄

Just take care with the gearbox, that gearbox is good for 250NM of torque and Ford fitted it to and engine that is de-tuned to 270NM (The powershift engine was 300NM) a remap will easily take it to 350NM so be careful.

Ford added a torque limiter to 1st and second gear, don't be tempted to remove it.

Mine is a 6 speed manual not the power shifter automatic.

Correct, the manual is the weak gearbox. My advice is based on the manual gearbox.
