Focus 2009 mk2 1.6 tdci ac not working after alternator failure.

Featured Replies

My alternator died 2 months ago and took the battery with it. At the time this happened the ac was working fine.

Ive replaced the alternator now and the belt, and tensioner but no ac.

The blower works, the ac light on the control unit doesnt come on.

Ive checked the fuse- fine.

Ive checked the relay- fine, and ive replaced it too.

Ive jumped at the relay and the clutch engages with cold air coming out of the vents when engine on.

Ive replaced the control panel and its made no difference.

Ive checked the refrigerant level and all is fine.

What can i check next?

Cheers.
