Weird pull to the left

Featured Replies

I've got a 2006 2.0 Tdci only 74000 on the clock it's got a weird thing going on at speed it pulls to the left but going as slow as 5mph the steering wheel turn itself to the left to about 9 o'clock very quickly if that makes sense, had tracking, wheel alignment done and checked twice, changed tyres around in case of bias and underneath everything looks good in fact it just went through MOT ok, anyone got any ideas.

Cheers.

Are they mismatched tyres?

Could also be one of your brakes binding on the left side.

I should report the MOT testing station, that's a definite fail

Was MOT'd just before I bought it and it wasn't doing it on test drive so it's a recent thing, I should have added it's intermittent, sorry my bad.

MOT doesn't road test so won't always pick up driving pulls like this.

It sounds like the steering rack might be getting a 'left' input when it should be straight.  Does keep pulling left if you leave it or Dora it just stop at that 90 degrees?
