Ford Focus Titanium 2012 Bulbs

Featured Replies

Hey, I passed my test around 2 months ago now, I went and got myself a Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback 2012 Edition.

Don't really know much about cars, but If you could help that would be great.

To cut it short, My lights are naff, I can't see much when driving on A roads I have to constantly use Highbeam, even on motorways, I can't see much.

Can anyone recommend anything to make my lights bigger, been looking at conversion kits to "Xeon Bulbs" or a "Hid" kit.

Please could someone help.

Thanks in advance.

HID kits are technically illegal, but I've used them in the past.  Bit of a faff with fitting, often have to drill holes in your headlamp cluster caps for the cables, and put the ballasts somewhere.  That said, in projector housings they can make a good difference.

First though, I would get some Osram Nightbreakers or Philips Extreme.  These are straight replacement halogens but do give much better light.    I use them in my 2019 Focus Mk4 for the difference and they were a revelation in my old VW Bora which was basically useless on standard bulbs.

You need projector headlights in order to fit xenons. You'll blind everyone on the road otherwise. In order to pass an MOT it will need headlight washers installed, and the self levelling mechanism working.

Yes, as said, use Osram Nightbreaker Laser, I use these in my MK4, they are a massive improvement.

They will be H7 in your car👍
