Hi everyone, I’ve got myself  a Ford Fiesta 1.6 diesel van.very tidy 14 plate.131,000 miles I’ve never had anything with such high miles.but being 67 and retired 3 years that was my budget it was £3,250 . I asked if it had the cam belt done ,but he said it wasn’t due to 14,000. So I’ve got onto my local mechanic to give me a price for a new water pump idlers and belt. He hasn’t got back with a price yet.so can anyone give me a ballpark figure. I’ve just sold my vw caddy maxi 1.6 td. They are not as good as vw I’ve had in the past and I’ve had enough of spending money on it.its only for taking the dogs out in,and to give me a runaround.the bloke I bought it from is quite local to me.he has kept it clean, and had it remapped to 125 bhp.
