mk6 ford fiesta rear brake balance problems

Featured Replies

Hi new to site I have a 2003 ford fieste 1.4. I have fitted a st150 axle to my car, it has failed the mot due to rear brake imbalance I have looked at the normal thing that I thought could cause this to happened I have stripped and refurbished the calipers fitting new seals as well as cleaning the guides and greasing the up to make that there was working correctly  I have also had to replace couple of brake pipe which the garage told me needed replacing which there put down as an advisory but made it clear there needing replacing. Could some let my know what size brake pipe fittings are fitted I know the  brake pipe is 3/16 I have tried m10x1mm fitting but there not seem to tighten up good i am also fitting a 2lb residual pressure valve to each side to see if this will help with the imbalance, is there and balance valve near the master cylinder as there are 2 brake pipes and not 1 that would split and go to each side of the axle if someone could help out it great as I want to get the back on the road
